ABOUT THE PROJECT:

This project was construction of a new maintenance/transportation building for Cook County school, Adel, GA.

The scope of work consisted of demolition of an old burned building and slap to make way for a new Metal Building Shop. Provide the new facility with CMV block walls, mechanical HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and install a bus lift and exhaust system.

Work performed under the contract documents included: grading, paving, utilities, masonry, concrete S.O.G., reinforcing steel, Pre-Engineered Metal Building, insulation, aluminum windows, architectural wood doors, HVAC equipment, plumbing, communication and alarm system, electrical systems and providing support systems for Owner-furnished products and equipment.

The owner reserved the right to occupy and to place and install equipment in completed areas of the building prior to substantial completion provided that: (1) Certificate of occupancy had been issued by local building officials. (2) Mechanical and electrical systems were fully operational once testing and inspections were successfully completed.
