About the project

The Fellowship Home at Meriwether was a new 48,490 square foot construction project situated on 10 acres in Milledgeville, Georgia. The new facility includes an 18 room Memory Care Unit with Dining, Dayroom, Sunrooms, and exterior courtyard, along with a 42 room Assisted Living community complete with Salon, Activity Room, Library, Theater, Fitness Center, Dayroom, Sunrooms, Dining Area, and exterior courtyards with covered porches. The warm and inviting ambiance creates a home-like atmosphere with friendly staff and the support of an exuberant community. Nurse Stations are positioned to keep a caring eye on the ones we treaure the most and help those in need of assitance. A full service Kitchen serves both the Memory Care and the Assisted Living dining needs. The facility boasts interiors by Doug Carter and architectural elements by Richard Hill, AIA, both of Valdosta, Georgia. Features such as a centrally located Atrium, monumental front Tower, beautiful tray and coffered ceilings, interior shiplap siding, barn doors, wall sconce panels, beautiful chandeliers, exquisite furnishings, and artwork creates a desirable, happy environment for all residents and loved ones to enjoy.
