Moody AFB Surfaces and Markings

About the project

The project consisted of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials required to remove 90 percent of the rubber build-up and remove 95 percent on the flight lines of Moody Airforce Base, Ga and Avon Park, FL. Once the rubber and paint were removed the paint was put back in accordance AFI32-1042 27 and Engineering Technical Letter(ETL) 04-2 (Change 1): Standard Pavement Marking Schemes. This project was performed both day and night coordinating with flight schedules and base trainings. There was a 30 day completion time from the Notice to Proceed and S.C. Barker Construction completed within time and with both project sites have punch lists signed off.
